DJ PIERRE
DJP Records, Chicago
Back in the days when acid was just a tab, DJ Pierre was holed up in his Chicago bedroom creating a sound which would impact the dance music scene down to the genetic level: House Music. Spartan and viscerally invasive, this disco-stripped-of-disco-trappings was just beginning to reverberate in the club underground when a tweak accident changed everything. Call it synth-abuse or creative lighting, but in DJ Pierre’s hands the Roland TB-303—originally a bass guitar synthesizer/sequencer—had become a weapon. Phuture—DJ Pierre’s highly successful guise with fellow squelchers Spanky and Herb J—released their epic “Acid Trax” and House Music’s evil twin, Acid House, was born and House Music History was written. Twenty years later Acid is as edgy and fresh as ever, rattling bass bins, melting iPods and inspiring a new generation of fans, producers and DJs the world over.
Not many artists in the history of dance music can list Carl Cox, Diesel (X-Press 2), Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, Michael Mayer (Kompakt Records), Bob Sinclar, and Tom Stephan (Superchumbo) as fans. Not many can claim responsibility for helping kick start the careers of Felix Da Housecat and Roy Davis Jr. Not many can lay claim to giving birth to a genre and pioneering a sound that had the whole world dancing and imitating for over fifteen years. DJ/Producer/Remixer, Nathaniel Pierre Jones a.k.a. DJ “Wildpitch” Pierre is of a rare breed.
“Afro Acid is a culmination of Acid, Garage, Wild Pitch, Disco, Techno, Electro and Rock. It’s a new approach to making house music and DJing it. It’s about inclusion and fusing together multiple elements of music to get the ultimate club experience! That’s who I am as a producer and a DJ.”

DJ FREEDOM
Wiggle Productions, Philadelphia
He attributes his love for house music to his father, who is from Chicago, playing his LPs for him and taking him to the skating rink when he was just 2 years old, and to his mother who worked as a songwriter. As a child he played the drums and his love for beats progressed into DJing. In 1992 he began playing at house parties and working for DJ companies, but was always drawn back to underground house music. In 1996 he was formally introduced into the Philadelphia underground and began spinning at events in Philly, NJ, and Maryland. In 1998 he got the chance to play at Space Nightclub and was soon recruited by fellow veteran DJs Wiggle Productions. Quickly gaining a massive following in the underground as well as the deep house scene, Freedom has been a positive force for dance music since then. His deep and funky style of house music has never been duplicated. Now in the studio, and at the drawing board for some stellar events, DJ Freedom is continuing his productions and performances for the love of true house music. Don’t miss your chance to hear one of the most innovative figures in House music today.
“Freedom is about following your dreams even when they say it can’t be done. I believe in staying positive and optimistic…pushing forward, knowing that all things are possible…”

JEFF HEART
With increased worldwide exposure in the rave market of underground dance music, Jeff Heart has been widely recognized as a Hard House pioneer of the East Coast, USA. Only the past 7 years have brought this acclaimed status, but what many have forgotten to realize is that Heart’s roots lay embedded within the deep house genre in which he first began. In a time long ago, daily promo servicing from record labels like Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Twisted, Henry St, MAW, helped pave a road to Jeff’s early years as a club DJ. With the ability, knowledge and the arsenal of his deep underground track selectons, old and new, Jeff is going to throw down a style of house that has been well overdue for him. True househeads should not miss this late nite set as it will once again show you why Jeff is considered among the worlds most experienced and diversity capable DJs.
“When I was growing up, I never in a million years thought I would be an entertainer trying to make a name for myself in the music industry. I collected so much music through the years that one day, after listening to local radio mix dance shows, I bought some belt drive turntables and it just sort of happened. While led to this career by what feels like an unpredicted fate, and seeing the energy that I can create for a crowd of people, along with the positive emotions it provides me, I wouldn’t trade it in for the world!
Music is truly the ultimate high.”
